Philip Ki Joon Oh Hockey Scholarship
THE PHILIP KI JOON OH HOCKEY SCHOLARSHIP
The annual “Philip Ki Joon Oh Hockey Scholarship” will be awarded to two (2) Beaumont student/hockey players who demonstrate noteworthy talent/ability and show a continuous effort to benefit our community and society. The intention of the Scholarship is to maximize a player's potential and long-term involvement in the sport. The "Scholarship Foundation" will administer to each recipient $750.00.
CRITERIA:
Played a minimum of 2 years of hockey with BAHA.
The “Scholarships” will be available to all hockey players in conjunction with #1 (above) including the first year in Bantam.
Must demonstrate good citizenship in and around the community
Must be in good academic standing
Written letter of application deadline: 3rd Monday of April each year. Potential
Must submit 2 letters of reference from the following:
- Former Hockey Coach
- Academic Teacher
The Selection Committee will be made up of the following:
- BAHA Executive Member
- Town Councillor
- A member at large appointed by the Foundation
The Award, is not transferable and can be won only once.
Official presentation of the scholarship award, certificates and an engraved plaque (for BAHA's trophy case) will be presented at the BAHA AGM/Awards night each year. The "Scholarship Foundation" will administer to each recipient $750.00
