AA Program

Mission Statement

Challenge, motivate, teach and inspire AA Players to reach their full potential by providing a well defined and structured program.  Each player will have the opportunity to achieve excellence by having the support of an association that is committed to integrity, respect and sportsmanship.

BAHA is pleased to announce the following Head Coach Positions for the 2019-2020 hockey season:

Peewee AA Head Coach - Brant Poyser

Bantam AA Head Coach - Brad Holgate

Midget AA Head Coach - Greg Propp

PARENT MEETING - August 22, 2019 @ 6:30pm at the Beaumont Community Center


Should your player earn a spot on BAHA Peewee AA, Bantam AA or Midget AA please note the following:

Our AA team requirements are extra time and financial commitments, please be aware of all team requirements prior to final team selection.

All parents/guardians of players trying out for a AA Team, MUST attend a MANDATORY AA information session PRIOR to tryouts.  Crucial information and specific details concerning the 2019-2020 AA season will be presented.  Session is to take place on August 22, 2019 @ 6:30pm at the Beaumont Community Center.

**TENTATIVE Start Dates for AA TRYOUTS: 

Peewee AA - August 27th, 2019

Bantam AA - September 2nd, 2019

Midget AA - September 7th, 2019

**These dates are subject to change, please check the website for any changes.  

Once a player is confirmed to a AA team, an additional AA Program Fee will be applied which will be due once the teams have been confirmed.

Amounts indicated are an estimate based on the previous year's AA budget and may be subject to change.  These fees are to cover costs incurred by the association (these will be discussed at the AA Information Session Prior to AA Tryouts). The AA Information Session will be held on August 22, 2019 @ 6:30pm at the Beaumont Community Center 

AA teams will receive additional practice ice and game slots.


Equipment and AA Dress Code

Each season, AA players will be provided with BAHA AA; socks, practice jerseys and pant shells -  these items are to be kept by the players. 

All players will be required to have/or purchase BAHA approved Hockey Bag, Dryland Gear & Wool Dress Jacket before being allowed to play with a AA team.

  • Players can purchase Dryland gear and Wool Jacket through BAHA approved vendors, Custom Sports Swag and Red Wing Sports.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Volunteer commitments for AA players follows BAHA's Volunteer Program; 2 Volunteer Shifts/Child OR the option to Buy Out Volunteer Shifts at time of Registration.
  • CLICK HERE for Information on BAHA's Volunteer Program and/or to sign up for available shifts.
  • Note: There will be NO REFUNDS on Volunteer Buy Outs this season, DO NOT choose this option if there is a possibility you may manage, coach, jersey parent or work an event.  You can buy out your shifts after registration, before Jan 1, 2020, should you choose not to volunteer (however, you are responsible for fulfilling any shifts you have signed up for or finding a member to replace you).
